Disney and Dog News Daily are joining together this Sunday to celebrate National Spay/Neuter Month, which begins Monday, by sponsoring a fun filled event for you and your dog at the Los Angeles Animal Services West Los Angeles Animal Shelter.

The event will launch the premiere of Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2 on DVD and stars of the film Papi and Chloe will be there in their doggie best.  In addition the event will promote responsible pet ownership with a panel of celebrity experts in the pet field to answer your questions including Karen “Doc” Halligan, Veterinarian and head of Vet Services at the SPCALA, Tamar Geller, Trainer/Behaviorist, Melanie Monteiro, Pet Safety Expert, Letitia Fox, Canine Compatibility Coach and Pat Troise, Grooming specialist.

The Los Angeles Animal Services, Amanda Foundation and the Morris Animal Foundation will also participate to help promote spay and neutering.

The first 200 dogs who bring their owners to the event will receive a gift bag of canine goodies valued at $300.

The shelter is at 11361 W. Pico Blvd. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
