Mary Doherty, Awesome Volunteer

The West Vally Animal Care Shelter would like to express their gratitude for Mary Doherty, a hardworking volunteer who has earned 5100 volunteer hours & makes West Valley a better place! She has been a volunteer since 2007 and takes the bus to the shelter everyday, rain or shine. Said ACT Supervisor, Sergio, “She loves the animals, she does laundry, helps us in the kennels , she takes the dogs for walks, she has been a bottle baby foster mom for many kittens over the years, she feeds the animals that need extra feeding, and helps bathe and groom the dogs.
